Consider All The Ways You’re Trying To Create A World You Can Control.

Then Ask: “Who Told Me This Was The Way To Live?”

Scripture teaches there are only 2 sources of information speaking into the world. One voice belongs to Almighty God, communicating His wisdom through His Holy Word. The Bible reveals absolute truth and is designed to lead you to Jesus, the Source of abundant life now and forevermore.

Any voice that deviates from God’s Word belongs to the devil and is an absolute lie. The devil’s messages are disguised as light, intoxicating your soul with myths you long to hear, but with the sole purpose of stealing, killing, and destroying everything good in your life.

Jesus is the Word of God,

and He said, “Follow Me.”

Christ is wisdom personified and the only Way to Truth and Life (John 14:6). Hope is found in the sovereignty of God and obedience to His design for your life. The details of His glorious plan are revealed in Scripture.

Your deepest needs for love, joy, peace, security, and stability find satisfaction in an intimate, growing relationship with the One who made you. Despite your persistent efforts to create a kingdom that serves your desires, Eden doesn’t exist without Jesus.

Biblical Soul Care

“He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

2 Corinthians 1:4

Genuine comfort that accomplishes God’s purpose is sourced, taught, and energized by God’s Word. This is the Soul Care Jesus provides and gives us the sacred privilege of sharing with others. It is based on Victor Theology that resolves our sin problem, rather than Victim Theology that enslaves us to circumstances.

Suffering is unavoidable because we live in a world saturated in sin that produces pain. We cry out for escape, but God’s goal is eternal transformation rather than instant pain relief. He is laser-focused on remaking us from selfish slaves into selfless ambassadors of mercy and grace—a process that often feels like spiritual surgery without anesthesia.

God’s comfort allows pain for a purpose, targets the soul for deliverance and transformation, and gives us His strength so we can endure the struggle.

Jesus promises that the difficult path will lead us to glory, but we demand shortcuts. Since the Garden of Eden, humans have stubbornly sought the blessings of God without God. We desperately want the Fruit of His Holy Spirit without obedience to His Word. But choosing another path enslaves us to the counterfeit god of SELF, making us willing participants in our own destruction.

These shortcuts lead to despair, broken relationships, and situational slavery:

  • Love: enslavement to sensuality without selfless devotion

  • Joy: enslavement to personal happiness that shifts with every happening

  • Peace: enslavement to imaginary worlds built on the illusion of escape and denial

  • Patience: enslavement to agreement that produces separation and unforgiveness

  • Kindness: enslavement to the silent assassins of pretense and lies that taste like honey

  • Goodness: enslavement to excuse-making, blame-shifting, and renaming favorite sins

  • Faithfulness: enslavement to the death-dealing counterfeit god of SELF

  • Gentleness: enslavement to hypersensitive emotions

  • Self-control: enslavement to physiology (the body) as the change agent for life transformation

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.”

Romans 12:1-2

“I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.” Psalm 40:1-3
